Author's Note: So, this is a throwback post for about a month ago during my pregnancy journey. Actually, I have lost this baby
and had a miscarriage. Initially, I wanted to publish all the posts
after my first trimester announcement but thing does not turn out well.
Since I have been recording my pregnancy journey for the past 35 days in
draft mode, I still decide to publish all posts to look back and
reflect on this journey.
So, welcome to this space.
One that recorded my ups and downs throughout the past 35 days, from I
first found out I was pregnant to the day that I found out that I have
lost the baby. It is one that is full of pain, but ultimately one that
gives me hope and faith. I hope by reading these few
posts, you will be able to share in my journey and understand even more
deeply what I have been going through. It finally is a closure but I
hope you will also be encouraged and inspired to find God in the midst
of this painful, yet blessed journey of mine. So, from the bottom of my
heart, THANK YOU. Thank you for reading these posts, praying, sharing
and journeying with me.

Day 3
We decided to tell our parents! I contemplated for a while whether we should share since things are still pretty uncertain. We did the blood test but the result will only return next week but man, I just feel like telling the world about this good news! π
But as much as I want to share the joy, I am also afraid of the uncertainty of this news if I shared it earlier before the first trimester (12 weeks). Do you know why people only share their pregnancy news after 3 months? It's because miscarriage possibility is very high. Apparently about 3 in every 4 miscarriages happen at this period. Usually after 3 months, then the pregnancy is generally considered 'safe'.
But well, I figured with all the uncertainties that lie ahead, it will still be great if I have the support of my family so we decided to share. But before that, I went to do another home pregnancy test and the result returned positive! The chances of me not pregnant is quite low right I think? Part of the reason I haven't shared is because I really felt surreal about the whole thing. Well, blood test result will return next week and then we can have more certainty that the little one is growing! And honestly,
I can't wait!
Funny how at first it took us really long time to prepare for the baby but now I just can't wait for the baby. In fact, we have been married for almost 4 years already and all our relatives haven't stopped asking in the past 4 years πIn a hindsight, I am glad we took it slow and enjoyed our honeymoon period because things just fall nicely into places. I got my PR last year, worked a part-time job, completed my certificate course and now looking for a new career opportunity. All of these happen just in God's good timing and I am really grateful for that π
Can't wait for you my little one! ❤

Dear Baby,
Can you grow up faster? π Mummy really want to see you! I keep looking at the mirror but daddy reminded me you are still a size of an orange seed now so I shouldn't get too anxious! π
By the way, daddy is very supportive these days. He cooked all the meals and made sure I ate two serving of veges every meal. π Mummy doesn't mind veges la to be honest, but we read that peppers are really good, so can you imagine we started eating peppers? You shouldn't be picky too, so I will eat all veges from now on so you can get all the nutrients you need and grow up healthily.
Hopefully we can see you in ultrasound soon and say hi to you! Meanwhile, enjoy veges okay and eat more and grow up healthily! π
Loves,
Mummy and Daddy
